UGC Creator · Creative Ad Strategist · Create with VSN
I'm Eliah Jones — writer, director, and the guy brands call when their UGC looks great but doesn't sell. Every concept I ship starts with the angle: a script built to stop the right person, a creator who feels native to the brand, and an iteration system that turns one winner into a library.
Past Work
Creative Strategy
The words, the video, and the numbers — how each concept was built and how it performed.
Big and tall wasn't a sizing problem. It was a respect problem.
The deeper pain wasn't about looking attractive in a t-shirt. It was standing in the back of every group photo. Lifting your kid up worried about a gut showing. Being engineered around by every brand instead of designed for.
I rebuilt the creative engine around three shifts. Identity Hook → Lifestyle Body → Spec Proof, leading with how the customer wants to feel before earning the right to talk about the product. Recurring real big men on camera, building familiarity that compounded across formats and months. And iteration over invention — when a hook worked, V2 and V10 followed.
Most accounts dilute as they scale. The top performers held while spend more than tripled. Multiple hero ads each drove 200+ purchases over multi-month runs.
Zum had only ever run static ads — video UGC was an unproven channel for them. That framed the assignment: the first concept had to earn the channel's credibility, not just its own numbers. I owned it end to end — script, edit, and creator sourcing.
The strategic read: their seasonal scents were the strongest emotional trigger in the catalog, and their customers already talk about the brand in testimonial language. So the concept was built as a testimonial with the seasonal line as the hero — meeting buyers where their intent already lives instead of manufacturing a new pitch.
Creator selection was deliberate: demographic match for credibility, aesthetic match so the ad reads native to the brand's world. On a deliberately conservative test budget, it cleared a 3.68x ROAS and $10K in purchase value within the first weeks — proof the channel deserved a bigger seat at the table.
